Dr. Jain is an absolute treasure! She is highly skilled and knowledgeable, but best of all, she truly cares about her patients. She goes above and beyond expectations and is trained in state-of-the-art treatments. It is obvious from her first friendly greeting that she will do her absolute best to provide the most positive outcomes possible for the women in her care. She brings a wealth of experience to her practice, and any woman can be confident that her advice is sound and researched. I cannot say enough good things about Dr Jain- I, for one, feel so very thankful to have found her.
Dr. Jain is absolutely the Best! I had a robotic surgery the first week of June due a problem in one of my ovaries, she took the time to explain what to expect during and after my surgery. There was more than jus the cyst in my ovarie and she took care of everything, I am absolutely pleased with her care and her staff as well. She is a very knowledgeable, skilled and caring. After 12 plus years of being disregarded and frustrated with pain that would never go away I finally asked my Nurse Practitioner, Stephanie Anderson of Saint Pete who is also amazing if she knew an endometriosis OBGYN specialist? My hair stylist had it, I have PCOS and we would talk about our symptoms anytime I got my hair done so I just had a feeling that’s what I had. At this point I would wake up feeling almost crippled in pain and unable to work out like I have always enjoyed doing. Had my first appt. within a week of calling to schedule. Like others have said the wait was an hour past my appt time. I always research before I go to a Dr. though and saw that was the main negative complaint. So I cleared my schedule to not have anything after. I was initially not impressed. But then Dr. Jain comes in. She listens like nobody ever has before, was very kind, reassuring and she told me after examination “you 100% have endometriosis”. Within 2 weeks her office staff had my insurance approval and I was scheduled for surgery. I am now 70 days post op and FINALLY able to go to workout classes as I always loved to but this time without having back pain! It’s almost surreal… I also in general just don’t feel the pain I would feel day and night. Praying it only continues to get better and better. I can’t say I am 100% yet but I feel like I am well on my way there. I had went to so many specialists and OBGYNS that had done nothing but let me down. Never even mentioned this being a possibility. Very thankful to finally have a go to OBGYN and someone that specializes in my condition. Not many Dr.s in our area do. Always do your own research but for myself I have so far had a wonderful experience. The time problem is because we need more Dr. Jains. I am glad I cleared my schedule that day to see her. 1 extra hour was worth my 12 years of being misinformed and frustrated.Surgery process in my experience was very smooth and uneventful and to be expected. Everything from my pre surgery lab work, check in, hospital, surgical team, office staff, private room, anesthesiologist and nurse team was top notch in my opinion. I had 3 friends recomendation for Dr. Meena Jain for my surgery. She is the Best doctor I ever had. She is very friendly and very expreinced doctor and very much concerned about the welfares of her patients. She takes more time than avereage with her patients to be sure to give excellent service that may make other patients to wait liittle longer.
Dr. Jain is a truly remarkable physician, and I am so glad I found her. I spent years dealing with extreme pain and nausea, in and out of the hospital every few months with no doctor being able to help. Dr. Jain pinpointed it all as being symptomatic of endometriosis immediately, and after my surgery, I feel myself for the first time in years with no recurrence. She’s changed my life. Her bedside manner cannot be beat, she takes her time with you to fully explain and make sure you are comfortable.

3 hour wait with lots of waiting room drama. Pap smear results never shared. Sent for a painful sonogram and told not to miss my appointment due to the results. Day of appointment the office cancelled on me and told me it would take weeks to reschedule after SHE cancelled on me. Insurance not pre approved and now responsible for sonogram costs. They pass the buck on insurance approvals. Horrible waste of my time and money. Good luck this is not my type of doctor.
Dr. Jain is a remarkable doctor I went to her for one problem and found out I had three others. My surgery was a success and six weeks later I am up and active once again. I highly recommend her services.
The office here is completely disorganized. You can show up with your paperwork filled out and youre still going to wait up to two hours to be seen and this is described as normal for this office and doctor. This doctor loves surgery and similar procedures as thats how she makes the most money so whatever youre going in for, shes going to give you surgical options. I would not suggest going here if youre under the age of 45, most of what she is going for is rejuvenation services. Also, the office has a lot of advertising for other types of services (for veins in your legs etc.) and when asked about it, the doctor point blank says she does not do this type of work - so very confusing why there would be adverting throughout the office. The checking out process is also complicated and disorganized and the office staff isnt particularly friendly on top of it all.

I have never written a bad review before but this place deserves it. Absolutely horrible. I showed up for my appt and it took over 1 hour to get called back. Once I was in my room, 30 mins of waiting and nothing. I expressed to them I was in the middle of my work day and I cannot be here this long. They kept telling me how they are prioritizing their current patients and do not have the time for me (even though I had an appointment). Jain herself was nice but I never got to experience her medical advice I was seeking. I explained to them how disappointing it is for them to not respect their other patients and have no concern for anybodys schedule or time. As I was in the back room waiting I could here all the employees running around and asking everyone who was in what room and where things were. The organization was nonexistent. Save yourself TIME and STRESS and NEVER go here. Oh and to make things worse, when I called them the next day to say I will not be rescheduling, the receptionist said okay bye -not even an apology. Not to mention it is extremely hard to find a gyno accepting new patients, now I am with out my prescription and no place to get it for months. Wish I could give negative stars for them.
I was referred to Dr. Jain for a procedure and decided NEVER to return to my old OBGYN again, thats how Amazing Dr. Jain is!I moved two hours away from her office, and I will still NEVER replace her as my lady doctor.Dr Jain cares about her patients and their feminine health. She’s VERY thorough!I love her so much!Her office is a little old-school but she is not.I finally after 35 years, have a doctor who was able to identify all my female health issues and actually resolve them.My family thanks you Dr. JainPlease never change!
I had the best surgery experience with Dr. Jain. She, carefully, explained the process to me making me feel at ease from the very beginning of the medical procedure. She is one of the very few doctors who takes the time to get to know her patients. She is remarkable. I highly recommend her as a doctor.
Called to schedule an appointment, they ask me if they can call me back. No call back received. Called again at 2:15pm, prompet to voice mail as office is closed. Working hours are until 4 pm on Tuesdays. Not to mention 2 previous apointments were canceled by office.So disappointed with service. Dr Jain deserves better employees.
Dr. Jain is very dedicated to her patients and her work, knowing that gave me a great deal of comfort and trust, that everything was going to be Ok with me ,before and after my surgery and it indeed was. Dr Jain is awesome! Ive seen many OBGYNs in my life and she is the first one that actually listened to me and diagnosed me appropriately with endometriosis and adenomyosis. I just recently had a total hysterectomy and am pain free for the first time in a year. Yes the wait is long in her office but its worth it.
Dr. Jain is amazing! I needed surgery to remove many large fibroids and cysts, and during the surgery, she realized that there was a lot of endometriosis to get rid of and she took the time to clear everything out of my body that shouldn’t have been there. She sent someone out to explain the situation to my parents, who came up to care for me, which made my mother feel better knowing why the surgery was taking longer than we expected. Overall, my experience with Dr. Jain was great and I’m so glad I was referred to her. She and her team made me feel cared for and I’m so thankful for them.There usually is a bit of a wait for scheduled appointments, but she is definitely worth the wait!

I have been a patient of Dr. Jain since 1983. She is an extraordinary doctor, and surgeon. She has saved my life twice, and my infant son in 1991. Five weeks ago Dr.Jain performed a robotic radical hysterectomy on me. I was expecting to be in an extreme amount of pain, and worried about the possible complications with such a big surgery. In addition to the hysterectomy Dr. Jain found several other complications, and she corrected those problems as well. Today I feel like a new woman. She was able to correct a problem with my bladder, and this has completely changed my life. Not only is she on top of her specialty technically, but she has an amazing “bed side manner”, she definitelyCares for each of her patients. I waited a month for my appointment once I got to her office I waiter 3 hours as I was scheduled for 12.00 pm and was seen nearly 3.00 p.m. When it was finally my turn, Dr. Jein seemed to be in a rush. She gave me only a few mins of her time and rushed out of the door. I have an issue I have been dealing with for a long time and I feel it was not enough to talk about it as it was a first time patient appointment. She didn’t listen, gave me a prescription which i had already had and hadn’t worked in the past. She also sugested an invasive test which I have also done in the past and it would cost me $500 according to her staff. I called her office to request a referral for a service she does not provide and they sent the paperwork to the wrong address. After that they say sent it again but it took almost a month to receive the envelope and there was no referral in it. All I found was a leaflet. Her assistant said they do not provide referrals and suggested I see a family physician for that. She also canceled an appointment I had scheduled and said the next one would be 6 weeks from then. When you are in pain six weeks is a long time and I wish they would have told me she wouldn’t refer me to PFPT before the whole month I had to wait for a leaflet in the mail. I felt dismissed and treated as if my concerns were unimportant. Her practice seems more concerned about selling cosmetics procedures. I should have known that as whenever you call her office a recording will tell you everything about all the cosmetic procedures she offers. Don’t waste your time. If I could give 0 stars I would!
DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!I came in as a new patient at 10am for my 10:15am appointment and the paperwork alone (75% of which was simply attempting to sell cosmetic surgeries) took 30min. They do not email or snail mail paperwork ahead of time. Not to mention that the entire front area is COVERED in dirty, large print signs as if you’ve stepped into a bonds salesman’s office.I was not called back until 11:30am…an hour and a half after I arrived. When I was asked to give a urine sample by the nurse, I realized I had started my period. They did supply me with a pad but when the doctor came in at 11:45am to tell me that there was STILL one patient ahead of me and that she would be giving me an exam because apparently EVERY new patient has an exam done(Keep in mind that I asked the office staff if I should expect a pelvic exam as a new patient when I scheduled the appointment).I told her that I wasn’t comfortable with that and would just like to discuss the next steps of my abnormal pap results I had JUST received from my PCP…her response? She said “oh don’t worry- we take care of you” and then ran out before I could respond. I left a few minutes later because I needed to get to work and couldn’t afford to wait around any longer for a rushed, disorganized, and profit-driven doctor.No I don’t need laser hair removal, no I don’t want you to fix my varicose veins, no I do not need you to fix non-existent bladder control issues. What I NEED is for you to respect my time and LISTEN to my concerns.
I have been struggling to write this, as I truly needed time to process my experience at Dr. Jains office.Upon arriving, the news is playing loud on the tv and the waiting room is completely cluttered with signs in all caps spewing warnings for patients to abide by. I checked in at the front and was given a 10-15 page packet to complete by hand. There were many pages referencing all of the cosmetic upgrades/services offered by Dr. Jain as opposed to relevant medical or personal information. I would have much preferred if this was digital so that I could have filled this out in the comfort of my own home, and was asked highly personal questions to which I answered to be discussed with Dr.After about 45 min of waiting to be called back, I went to the front desk to tell them that if they wanted a urine sample then I will need to go back soon. After about 15 minutes I was called back with a nurse to take my vitals. She was kind and friendly and made small talk with me.After she left I waited about 30 more minutes in the room for the doctor. Dr. Jain peeked her head in and mentioned that she had one more patient before me. My appointment was at 10:15am and it was nearly 11:45am at this point. It is evident that she overbooks her schedule if she is this far behind this early in the day.When Dr. Jain finally arrived in the room we discussed a plan to remove my IUD and she was very quick to recommend a hormonal method of birth control - which if she had asked, it would have been a definitive no for me. Dr. Jain instructed me to get undressed for the exam - while she was in the room - which felt incredibly invasive and uncomfortable.After the exam she informed me that due to my type-A personality she believes I may have endometriosis. When I asked her to recommend me to a doctor that provides comfort measures for IUD removal she dismissed my concerns by responding with oh, but it takes two seconds, honey.After researching Dr. Jains credentials and her specialization in pelvic pain, I had very high hopes for my appointment - but this couldnt have been further from my reality. I feel disrespected, belittled, ridiculed, and dismissed for my fears and concerns.This is by far the worst interaction that I have ever had with a healthcare professional.
Dr Jain has given me back quality of life!! Recovery is not a picnic but I can tell already that the pain is gone from the cysts and scar tissue build up! I didn’t even know it was inhibiting my hip movement and affecting my colon, bladder and muscle function. I feel blessed that I found her!

I do not recommend this place unless you enjoy waiting over an hour after your scheduled appointment time to even be acknowledged by the staff. The lady at the front desk is extremely rude. Dr Jain is polite but will try to talk you into a surgery you don’t need! She tried to make me schedule a pretty invasive surgery based on “her feelings” even though my tests all came back normal. Luckily I went and got a second opinion from a more honest doctor who said the surgery would have been completely unnecessary! It would have cost me thousands of dollars and weeks of time off work if I listened to Dr Jain. I usually don’t like leaving bad reviews but please beware if you go to this office. If they recommend a big surgery, get a second opinion first!

Even though the office is deceiving from the outside, the office is quite large on the inside and well established. It seems like a well oiled machine and the ladies in the office have been doing this a while. Dr. Jain is obviously highly experienced, was personable and efficient and I already trust her, even after the first visit. And this is what you have to keep up front in your mind when you are seeing her, is her experience and that she teaches others and is a surgeon. I like that she does telehealth on follow up visits when physical exam in person is not required. She did not try to sell me any other procedures but I feel very informed that those options are there if I want to pursue them. And they accept Care Credit. Because I had an early appointment booked over a month in advance, I had little to no wait time. You have to arrive about a half hour early in order to complete your paperwork so prepare.
I came to Dr. Jain from a referral from a women’s clinic for endometriosis treatment. Dr. Jain is extremely knowledgeable of endometriosis and we quickly put a plan together to treat mine via robotic laparoscopy. The laparoscopy was smooth, left very minimal scarring, and the recovery went very well. She took me seriously when I told her my concerns, which was refreshing. There is always a wait for appointments but that was communicated to me by staff right off the bat so I knew to allot a couple hours for each appointment. She’s definitely worth the wait.
Doctor Meena is awesome, she is by far the best GYN i have ever had, but the staff are somewhat unprofessional and seems like unhappy to be doing what they do. The wait time is always long as they over book up her day and everyone has to wait forever and the staff aren’t very helpful. Even whenever i call them to ask questions, they seem like always in a rush and hung up the phone on me while i was still talking MANY times. I seriously suggest that she replace her front desk staff with younger, nicer, happier and more approachable people. Other than that Doctor Meena is phenomenal.
I’ve been seeing Dr Jain since I was 20 years old. I’m almost 24 now- let me tell you how sweet the ladies at this practice are!During the beginning of the year, I was informed I needed surgery for a medical procedure. As soon as I heard this news… I passed out. Passing out at the gyno is a little nerve wrecking- but Dr Jain and her nurse assistant took the best care of me! They immediately gave me a Diet Coke, Dr Jain ensured I would be okay and they both made my stay feel comfortable and reassured me. I had surgery on the 28th at Tampa General (performed by Dr Jain). This was my first surgery- and it went smoothly!My Primary doctor also recommends Dr Jain.. which made me feel more confident getting the procedure done. The only downside is the wait time- and initially scheduling appointments because they are usually booked for the following month. The wait time is a little annoying- but I just plan to wait for a couple of hours. Understandably, she is the only doctor in the practice. So there isn’t much anyone can do about that.Overall, Dr Jain shows she truly cares about her patients. She’s a sweet woman and is wonderful at her job. I can’t remember the nurses name- but I admire her just as much.
Dr. Jain is THE BEST!!! I cannot say enough good things about her! She is an EXPERT surgeon, but also has such a pleasant and kind demeanor and bedside manner. Usually, we don’t get both of those in the same physician. Trust me… I know. She is worth EVERY BIT of the very long wait in her office. Dr. Jain has been my Gyn since the 1990’s.She is:The only physician I trust with my life!Very thorough.SO worth any wait on appointment day.She’s gentle.She’s compassionate, understanding, she NEVER rushes you through your time with her and she is extremely intelligent and highly gifted in her field.She very recently performed a robotic hysterectomy on me (I’m 68) and my recovery has been flawless. In honesty, yes, some shoulder gas pain.. all expected and informed by her. But her incisions on my body were impeccable, meaning tiny little “lines” , ladies.Dr. Jain loves her patients like each of us were her sisters.

Dr. Jain has a long standing reputation, and is leaning heavily on this reputation in her current practice. Her main objective for each patient is to up-sell cosmetic surgeries and hair removal, and of course her admins try to charge the maximum amount to both patient and insurance for her expert time trying to sell these optional procedures.If you are interested in waiting a minimum of +1 hour for each and every appointment, and if you really dont care about paying extra costs for listening to sales pitches for weight loss gimmicks and surgical incontinence fillers, then she is the Dr for you!If you want to be respected, if you want your time valued, if you want to manage your health care costs, then I highly recommended you keep looking.

Dr Jain is one of a kind. She is professional, caring, extremely knowledgeable and more thorough than any medical provider we have come in contact with in trying to control my mothers severe pelvic pain for the past 8 years. She took the time to test and diagnose at our first visit. When she was guided in an inconclusive direction by test results, she went through the next steps all the way to scheduling and performing laparascopic surgery and diagnosing endometriosis. The follow up has been amazing as she continues to guide my mother in remaining as painfree as possible.
I had to have some fibroids removed someone gave me Dr. Jain name and I’m so glad they did. She has great bedside manner she did my procedure and told me everything I needed to know about it I had an open myomectomy (which I had over 15 of them growing inside of me). I can’t thank her enough. I have my life back. Even in the office she sit and listen to all your questions I never felt rushed. She has a patient for life I wish I could use her for all my needs. If I could give her a thousand stars I would.

None of my former gynecologists would listen to my health concerns and family history for many years, but when I found Dr. Jain she listened and found the problems right away. She did a fabulous job on my surgery and I truly feel her passion for her work by helping me to heal and feel better. I had a terrible experience here today. Definitely one of the worst medical experiences I’ve had. Dr.Jain came recommended, but I honestly have no idea why. As a new patient I arrived 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I wasn’t even called to go back for at least an hour. It was over an hour and a half before I saw Dr. Jain. The office and office staff are chaotic and unprofessional. Dr. Jain rushed me through the appointment and was making medical diagnoses without proper information. She even tried to prescribe me antidepressants even though I have no depression or mental health issues. I will definitely not be going back. I really regret the whole experience and ever having gone there. What a waste of time and money. Be forewarned.
Im going to share a very honest review. I came to Dr. Jain after a decade of dealing with Endometriosis symptoms and pain. Id gone to multiple doctors who gave me sonograms that came back normal. They tested me for PCOS, UTIs, Ovarian Cancer, IBS, gluten sensitivity. Everything came back negative or normal. Yet I continued to struggle with excruciating back pain, migraines, horrible periods, sharp stabbing pains in my ovaries and unpredictable mood swings, amongst other things.My last attempt was with Womens Care Health in Tampa, who for two years offered me sonograms and the chance to change my birth control when the symptoms worsened. When I requested a laparoscopy, they denied me.This is when I found Dr. Jain. The moment I told her about my symptoms, she proceeded to ask me a series of questions about other symptoms Id been having, but never thought to connect to Endo. All of which I answered yes to. After she performed her exam, she assured me she believed I had stage 3 Endo and I needed surgery. After years of being dismissed, I was thrilled. 10 days later, Dr. Jain performed an outpatient procedure on me that would change my life.Im 6 weeks post op, and I am back pain free for the first time in almost a decade. My body was littered with Endo and I had other issues I was unaware of that she was able to fix. While I know that Endo is not curable, Dr. Jain performs miracles that restore your quality of life.My only warning, or con, I want to highlight, is her office wait times. If you have an in person appointment, please be prepared to be at the doctors office for at least 3 hours and at least an hour and a half before being seen. While this is an inconvenience, Dr. Jain gives her patients her undivided attention, which causes for longer wait times. I promise you...it is worth it. If you have been struggling with Endo, or you suspect you have it, please see her if you can. You wont regret it.The office staff are extremely kind. Dr. Jains bedside manner is fantastic. The wait times are long, but Id rather wait for someone whos going to listen to me and give me an individual experience, than have shorter wait times for docs who dont believe me and treat me like a number.
Dr. Jain has been by far my favorite gynecologist! I had a surgery done by her and she is very hands on and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable going into it and if i ever have a question she will call me back the day of to answer. Definitely recommend 😁
I went to Dr. Meena Jain referred by my Primary care Dr. For ovarian cysts. After doing testing, Dr Jain suggested a hysterectomy. It was scheduled and done. 7 weeks later, I havent felt this good in a long time. The surgery went beautifully and so was my recovery. Thank you Dr Jain.
Unless youre interested in her cosmetic surgery, dont waste your time. Waited an hour, then had to leave. Everyone in the lobby while I was there was also waiting a long time. Turns out she only sees patients for other things two days a week. She spends most of her time in surgery. The new patient paper work is very old, inadequate, nothing is computerized, no patient portal.
I looked on line in March 2022 for a doctor in the St. Petersburg area who performed vaginal rejuvenation. I was familiar with the procedure and knew it helped with urinary leakage. This is how I found Dr. Jain’s office.Dr. Jain performed an internal examination to determine if I was, indeed, a candidate for this procedure. This is when she discovered the reason I was having problems. Within 2 weeks I had robotic surgery performed by Dr Jain to address and repair 3 issues. 6 weeks later, I feel wonderful & grateful for her diligence, patience, expertise & contentiousness. I very rarely leave a negative review. However, Dr. Jains office wait time is outrageous and completely unacceptable. I had an appointment for 1 p.m., and I showed up early to do paperwork at 12:20 pm. I understand that things happen that are out of anyones control, so I waited an hour to question when Ill be seeing by the doctor, I asked at 2pm. I was told that there are 5 people ahead of me, and I will be seeing between 3:30 to 4 pm. WHAAAAAATTTT?????THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. This doctors office over schedules appointments so they could charge the insurance company and make more money. This doctor doesnt care how long her patients have to wait, I took off from my job to see this doctor, and it was a complete waste of time. I left as soon as I was told how much longer I was supposed to wait.My daughter also had an appointment with Dr. Jain. I called in and canceled that appointment as well. I will be reporting this doctor to be investigated.I gave it 1 star only because Yelp wouldnt let me post the review otherwise. This doctors office needs to be closed down for fraud
I have been at this practice for a while now and while Dr Jain is a good doctor, I’m not sure I will be staying there long or at all anymore. you will not be seen on your apt time EVER at this place beware you will be waiting an hour, two and even in some of my cases 3 hours PAST my apt time. It has never failed, plan for a whole day affair there.Some of the staff is nice some is not and a lot of them in there are so clueless to everything when they call you.I would not have continued to go to her if it weren’t for having a big surgery with her and wanting to make sure everything is 1000% good with it after the fact.Even for my surgery I had to prep for it for 24 hours and got to the hospital at 530 am and then they were getting ready to put my IV in ans she canceled my surgery for that day, as they were prepping my IV! So after getting back dressed and leaving 30 min later she asked me to come back and she will do the surgery. ( after not being able to eat or drink for the surgery) I Immediately left the hospital to go and so when I told her that I was no longer able to come back and get the surgery 30 minutes later after she canceled it. I then had to go through the fasting process and all the other prepping all over again to come back and do it once again all over the next morning.Today I got a call that my apt for tomorrow is canceled because she isn’t coming to work tomorrow for feeling ill today( I realize people get sick and call out) but they told me I won’t be able to be seen for 3 more weeks now and I’ve already been waiting over 3 weeks for this appointment that got canceled. They did not try and accommodate and squeeze people in for this now lost day and it’s a shame. When you speak to the people in office about it they also just don’t care and say well that’s what it is and Nothing i can do.Just really hope nothing too serious is going wrong with my body with all this going on and in the meantime I will be looking for a new obgyn
Dr Jain is ah-mazing!!! Not only is she kind and caring but she is brilliant! I have sent my family to her! I would recommend her a million times!
Dr. Jain surgically repaired my bladder (cystocele repair), among other things, when I was 66 years old. The procedures drastically improved my daily life then and continue to do so now, 6 years later. She has the best bedside manner of any physician Ive ever been to and makes me feel at ease, even when discussing very personal issues. Dr. Jain is not only a highly skilled and very knowledgeable physician/surgeon, she truly cares about her patients quality of life. I feel very fortunate to be one of her patients.
I suffered for years with pelvic floor prolapses and all the medical issues it causes.I am six weeks post op. And my life is changed.So thankful for Dr Jain’s surgical skills.
Spent an hour waiting, only to be seen 3 minutes. Then they tried to charge me $160 when I only came in for an annual exam covered by my insurance. There is no patient portal, electronic forms, online scheduling - like this place is stuck in the 90s. Will not be returning!Review edit: Months later still dealing with nightmare, office coded visit as office visit instead of annual exam, so none of lab work or office visit are covered 100%. I have been on phone multuple times with insurance company, and office has limited hours for billing office. Ive called office to try to get answers, they promise to return my call and I receive nothing back. They knew before my visit that they were going to code it wrong forcing me to pay for an annual that should be 100% covered according to Affordable Care Act, hence the call before my visit to warn me of potential charges despite me insisting it is my annual exam.Review edit #2: After 9 months receiving bills for services mandated to be covered under Affordable Care Act, I had to threaten the office with the No Surprises Act passed in 2022. That resulted in the longest conversation I had with the doctor! And she promised Id nvr see another bill, which I have not. Look up the No Surprises Act - this office is violating it at every turn.
I read the other comments and I have to say, you cant make everyone happy all the time. Dr. Jain is very devoted to her work and her patients, and if she could, she would work around the clock taking care of all of us. In 1988 Dr. Jain was my second opinion and she performed a biopsy at the end of the day after her busy schedule. As kind and caring as she was, I new Dr. Jain would be my Gynecologist from that time on. Almost 33 years later, still caring, listening, thinking outside the box, Dr. Jain is still my Gynecologist. She is worth the wait...not to mention, her staff, very busy, but still caring, and patient with us while waiting for the Doctor; she is worth the wait. ❤
Dr. Jain is amazing! The only gynecologist who actually listened to my concerns and scheduled surgery immediately when I kept losing so much blood. She literally saved my life and removed a few large fibroids from my uterus! I highly recommend seeing her if you have any symptoms that you know are just not normal. So glad that I found her. It’s been 10 weeks since my laparoscopic myomectomy and I have healed perfectly all thanks to having an experienced surgeon!
Dr. Jain is very knowledgeable and helpful! I dont hesitate to ask her questions. Shes very thoughtful and always provided great care before my surgery, after as well as with annual routine exams.
I have been a patient of Dr. Jain’s for 10 years. First, I will say that Dr. Jain is a brilliant surgeon and a great doctor. But her patient base has grown to an unsupportable level. The wait time is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable - several hours every time. And Id even say that it used to be worth the wait when she had more time to spend with her patients. But now, the appointments are very rushed (after you already waited 3 hours to see her) as she tries to juggle multiple patients at a time, zooming around from room-to-room in her swivel chair (seriously – even her office staff jokes about this). If you’re modest in any way, this is definitely not the place for you. Privacy in the exam room is non-existent. I actually had the Office Manager, Roxanne, walk in to ask Dr. Jain a question while I was being examined! I couldn’t believe it. I have always found the staff to be great but office is completely chaotic because it’s so over-booked. Its very obviously unmanageable. Dr. Jain simply doesn’t have time to spend with her patients discussing or understanding their needs (something she used to be great at). She only wants to prescribe progesterone birth control pills, send you on your way and zoom off to the next room - without ordering blood tests to review your hormone levels or addressing your concerns first. At one point, she was the best and that’s why she’s so over-booked. But after 10 years, I have finally chosen to find a new doctor. I hope that Dr. Jain will decide to stop taking new patients and focus on doing surgeries and serving her existing base OR add some docs to her practice. I hate to see her reputation take such a hit because she really is a great doctor who has helped me tremendously.
I only regret not finding Dr Jain earlier. Most attentive & helpful OB/GYN Ive met. She diagnosed & treated an issue Ive endured for years. She takes time to fully explain & make sure I understood. Also, nurse Judy is excellent! I will continue to recommend Dr Jain.
I havent seen Dr Jain in a very long time. I dont live close enough to make appointments with her anymore. I have never had another doctor come close to being as good as she is. I use to always recommend her to people, shes great and very thorough!! I wish I lived close enough to still have her as my doctor.Shes excellent and very professional!!
I just recently had surgery with Dr. Jain and today had my post-op follow up. Dr.Jain is EVERYTHING a woman needs to care for health. She is very knowledgeable and has many years of experience which shows in her performance. Dr. Jain explains everything, addresses every question you might have and educates her patient for long term care of their health. She is amazing and nothing short of a fantastic doctor that knows what she is doing and saves your health. I am a 30 year patient of Dr. Meena Jain. I recently had an Axonic bladder implant. I couldn’tbe more pleased with the result. I am 80 years old. This procedure was a game changer. Dr. Jain promised and delivered.
Dr. Jain is the best gynecologist I have been to. She is super efficient and diagnosed my problem immediately. I went in for day surgery but she kept me overnight at the hospital and so glad she did. The nursing staff were wonderful to me and the surgery went extremely well with no complications whatsoever. I highly recommend Dr. Jain--she is awesome!!!
Dr. Jain is the BEST Obgyn ever!! I have battled Endometriosis for a very long time seeing multiple doctors and having several surgeries. She just operated on me yesterday and made me feel completely at ease through the whole process. She is very sweet and very caring. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does. You do have to wait awhile sometimes at your appointments to see her, but it is well worth the wait. I would highly recommend her to anyone. ;) There needs to be more doctors like her in the world!
I have recently moved here, and am in the medical field. I needed an GYN Doctor for abdominal pelvic pain.I asked the ladies at work, they all said Dr. Jain. I had surgery in December.i was very confident in her, and her surgical skills. I would use again no questions.Some of the reviews talk about her office and how you have to wait. This is true. She will come out and tell you I know i,m behind.( I have never had an Physician come out ever to apologize). She is worth the wait. Her staff were always and helpful.
You may have long waits in the office, the front office IS a bit disorganized, but its because Dr Jain is BUSY. She is the best in the area at what she does. Her surgical robotic skills are top of the line. You will never feel rushed when shes in the exam room with you. Do the research. She cares about her work, her patients and safety! Her bedside manner is kind and patient. She will tell you the truth, what to expect realistically, etc. If you want her expertise you may have to wait a while in the waiting room (they can usually fit you in pretty quickly for an appointment) , but youre waiting bc shes worth it. If you are an endometriosis, adenomyosis, PCOS, etc. warrior I highly recommend Dr Jain. She operated on me and several friends and family. My pain has been greatly reduced by her and my quality of life greatly improved. If youre looking for an annual or a Pap maybe go elsewhere for faster service, but if you need Dr Jains specialized help, definitely dont hesitate.
Dr. Jain repaired a bladder problem I had lived with for decades!! I was told by other doctorsthere was nothing that could be done and that I just had a “nervous bladder” I’m so grateful I foundDr. Jain she and her staff made me feel very comfortable every step of the way. Somehow they managethe perfect amount of professionalism while still treating you like an old friend. I would recommend to anyone!
Dr Jain is an excellent doctor. I was so lucky to find her. When I found out I had a big fibroid in my uterus other doctors wanted to cut me open and remove it with recovery length of 6 weeks or more. Thanks to her fine skills and expertise with the Da Vinci procedure she was able to remove it with only leaving 5 little dots on my abdomen. Which will soon fade.Recovery was great and I was working from home within 2 weeks I found the procedure painless and only took Tylenol. I highly recommend her!!!!
My appt time was for 930. At 11 I was finally called back from the waiting room. I asked how much longer until I get to see the dr and I was told she has multiple rooms go in before it will be my turn. I decided to leave. I knew there would be a wait but this wait was unacceptable. The new patient paperwork also tried selling other services to you. The staff was nice enough. I felt bad for the nurse she was in tears when I told her I was leaving. This does not seem like a well run practice.
Dr Jain is top-notch. She has experience and is an accomplished Robotic surgeon...she even trains other surgeons in that skill. Everything went very well. Shes extremely kind and thorough.The only reason I didnt give 5-stars is that sometimes you end up waiting a long time before you are seen. Today was an hour and a half. She is worth the wait ! But I would prefer not to wait that long.
I love her entire staff and she is such an amazing doctor! I feel so comfortable in her office and she really treats her patients like family! I have been to numerous Gynocologist and told each of them about my experiences with extremely painful periods and sex. All of them were very dismissive. I discovered I had an ovarian cyst and Dr Jain was recommended by a family member. She actually listened and cared and discovered that not only did I have a cyst but I have had endometriosis since childhood. I am so thankful that I found her and am now on the way to a better quality of life!
My first visit was April 2017 and the wait once I arrived was close to 1.5 hours long, that includes time in the waiting room and the patient room before actually seeing the doctor. After my visit I called a week later to check on my test results from my lab work and was told I needed to give it more time. I called two weeks after my appointment and was told that the Dr. performs surgeries on Fridays and Mondays, so she was not in the office and I needed to call in the following week. I then called a month after my visit and was on hold for 30 minutes waiting for lab results. I went in person to the office while on hold with them and watched them repeatedly pick up the phone and immediately put it on hold again. On this visit they could not find my file and again they were running over an hour behind on exams.Dr. Jain was very nice in person during my initial visit, she seemed kind and interested in what I had to say. She took a thorough history and was gentle during my exam. I think the problem here is that she is severely over booked and that is costing patients to wait and the office staff to be overly busy.My suggestion would be to bring another OBGYN into the practice or to decrease the number of patients being seen a day.
As a newly retired physician , when I moved to the area, I took the time to build my team of caregivers, asking for recommendations and researching various physicians. Dr. Jain’s name kept coming up . She is technically expert in robotic surgery . It was not until I saw her that I saw her skill was matched by her kindness and compassionate way and great attention to detail. I have since undergone robotic surgery under her care and it is without reservation that I would recommend her . You will wait in the office - bring something to read. You will be glad you went .
I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the care I received during my recent appointment with you. Specifically, I felt that you did not provide me with adequate time during our consultation.During our appointment, I had several questions and concerns that I wanted to discuss with you. However, I felt rushed and like I was not able to fully express my concerns or receive adequate answers to my questions. As a result, I left the appointment feeling unsatisfied and unheard.
I got top-notch care from an expert in her field who obviously likes treating women, in particular to me, a women over 60. I didnt have to wait but 3 weeks for an initial appointment and Dr Meenas care was thorough and very thoughtful. I would highly recommend this doctor and her clinic as well as the aesthetician there. Obviously she believes in having the latest and best care possible.
I am 39 yoa and have been dealing with really bad abdominal pain for a year. I had several flare ups when I couldn’t get out of bed. I went to Womes Care Florida for 10 yrs but when I started having this pain, they told me I was fine and that they don’t see anything abnormal. I did multiple ultrasounds and a CT scan. They told me to make appt with a GI specialist instead of taking time to eliminate any OBGYN issues. I was referred to Dr Jain by a friend who went through the same issues. I gathered all my records and took them with me. Dr Jain took time to review everything and showed me on previous ultrasounds taken by Womes Care Florida Dr Logeswarn and ER doctors where it shows that my uterus grew 3cm from the time I first complained to two weeks prior to my appointment with Dr Jain. She named all the symptoms I was having without me telling her. She told me I had endometriosis and needed laparoscopy done which Dr Logeswarn refused to do until I saw GI specialist. Dr Jain toldme this was not a GI issue and was shocked that my OBGYN didn’t do more to help.
I would highly recommend NOT going to see Dr. Jain. The first time I went to see her I waited in the waiting room for about 3 hours before I was taken back to the examination room. When I was finally in the exam room I waited another hour before I was actually seen by Dr. Jain, and I was seen for a whole 5 minutes! I had to go in again and waiting 2 hours to be seen again and she told me I needed unnecessary surgery that I found out later (after seeing another Doctor) could have potentially harmed me!! When I asked her and the nurses why I needed procedures done they would not disclose that information to me, which is absolutely ridiculous!! The nurses will also immediately put you on hold if you have any questions and after youve been waiting for 15 minutes they will either say they cannot answer your questions or that Dr. Jain will call you back and talk to you and then she never does! If anyone is thinking of going to see Dr. Jain it is NOT worth your time or effort to sit there for hours and hours and be told wrong information. Please dont go see Dr. Jain! Find someone else that cares about their patients and who has better medical accreditations!!!
Dr Jain addressed each issue I had and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. I eventually had robotic surgery performed by Dr Jain which led to an amazing painless and smooth recovery, all as predicted by Dr Jain. She and her staff are top-notch! Kudos to St Pete General Hospital for assisting Dr Jain.
Please do not let comments of long wait time deter you from at least visiting this Doctor. I have suffered from endometriosis for a very long time and recently became a new patient of hers. Yes, I did have a long wait. I read comments and began questioning my scheduled surgery. After years of searching for answers and relief, I questioned the doctor that named of all my symptoms before I could over comments. I have been to dozens of OGBYNS. They all have had a considerable wait time unfortunately, especially as a new patient, and left much to be desired. The difference is in the care I have experienced with Dr Jain. She is worth every minute. Her knowledge in this field and with robotic surgery is worth the wait. Her bedside manner is worth the wait. Her work is meticulous.
Do not book through zocdoc. there are YEARS worth of reviews of the front office staff not honoring zocdoc appointments that i wish i would have seen before booking, and yet they still continue to book through them. the office waited to call me until the day before my appointment to cancel it even though i got my confirmation through zocdoc a full week before. its clear that the front office just does not check their appointments made through zocdoc and they are trying to place blame. its a shame because Dr. Jain came highly recommended, but the front office is just too disorganized.
I was initially doing some research on the internet for a special problem I had, and for the first time in ten years, Dr. Meena Jain offered help on her website!! I can only start from there. I made an appointment to discuss my issues, and found she would give me a regular exam, which cost me nothing. She immediately found by doing a pap smear that I had a lot of soreness. I also had had interstitial cystitis, and was going to the bathroom a lot at night. To make a long story short, she set up bladder tests and an ultrasound. She set me up for surgery almost immediately, and today I am not having any pain in my abdomen or bladder problems. Had I not gone to her, there was a chance I may have eventually gotten ovarian cancer. Not only is she extremely knowledgeable, she is sweet and caring. I have been to enough gynecologists to know she is the very best. In addition, I had my surgery at St. Petersburg General Hospital, and have never been treated so well by all the staff in any other hospital. This woman is DEFINITELY the doctor you want to see!!! Attending an appointment at Dr. Jaines office was one of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. I was forced to wait for three hours even though I had an appointment in a waiting room that is covered with advertisements for laser hair removal, no surgery face lifts, and liposuction (not very welcoming or confident boosting for women).The office is run down (the front door doesnt close correctly) and the advertisements that cover the walls, give it a very cheap feel. Moreover, when I was finally placed in an examination room I asked the assistants working how much longer I would have to wait and after they answered I heard them talking about myself and other patients (apparently, the walls are very thin). When I finally met with Dr, Jain, who had a very unprofessional attitude, she apologized and did her examination in record time, so much so that she never asked permission to remove my bra, just pulled up my dress and unfastened the clasp to examine me.When my results from the exam came in, after numerous phone calls with other doctors, it came to my attention that Dr. Jain is not up to date with the latest medical practices and trends. Therefore, I had to pick up my records and seek a different gynecologist elsewhere. Furthermore, it is apparent there were no positive qualities about my visit. Dr. Jain is not what one wold expect as a professional or thorough doctor and has no consideration for other peoples time and is only interested in seeing as many patients as she can in one day.
I only gave one star because I cannot give zero stars.I would never recommend this physician to anyone. She only wants to gouge her patients with unnecessary testing and uses the most expensive facilities to do this. What I thought was going to be a routine visit has already cost me hundreds of dollars and no one has even called me about my lab results. It has been a constant struggle with the people in her office every time I call, and heaven help the patients that dont know that they can actually say no to their doctor. They are the ones who are getting unnecessary surgery at her recommendation because they have no idea of their patient rights. The patient-doctor relationship is to work together in promoting health care; not the doctor dictating everything they are going to do and the patient mindlessly agreeing.
This doctor saved my livelihood. Pelvic pain, resulting in undiagnosed endometriosis for 15 years stumped all gynecologists until I met Dr. Jain. I also took years of antibiotics from misdiagnosed UTI symptoms, that werent actually UTIs, by many doctors until meeting her. Turns out I have Interstitial Cystitis. She is a highly skilled doctor and surgeon and performed a laparoscopy for my endometriosis. Needless to say, there was a lot more scar tissue than initially thought. I was only 31 years old at the time. This doctor not only cured my endometriosis but also cleared my chances of having a child in the future by ridding of this painful scar tissue. She also has many options for interstitial cystitis including a laser and a pace maker device. I am forever grateful for her and her staff who has been taking care of me now for 4 years. If you are looking for a gynecologist, look no further. Thank you Dr. Jain for all that you do.
Dr. Jain delivered my now 27 year old daughter and she was fabulous! As an OBGYN you cannot predict when all of your patients will go into labor. You want her their for you right? Shes great!
Dr. Jain has been my doctor for 10 years. I came from Hawaii the first time I ever saw her and she has been great. I dont have to go to doctor after doctor.. She gets it right the first time. Yes, sometimes you may wait a couple hours...so what...its worth it!Nina
Terrible. Sent my daughter to the office because the doctor was highly recommended. Have never regretted anything so much in MY LIFE. Ive never heard of the kind of suggestions for treatment like were presented. Ive also never heard of a doctor so adamant about telling a grown woman what her reproductive decisions should be. Shameful.
She is great. Best Gynecologist in Tampa St Pete Area. She actually listens and cares. She has great understanding of what is going on. I had endometriosis removal via robotic laparoscopy done by her last Dec 2019. I am doing great, the migraines and PMs symptoms are very mild now. No other doctor had given me the diagnostic she encountered according to my symptoms. I really rely on her and recommend her to every other woman in the area.
Update 28 Apr 2021: In 2019, Dr. Meena performed endometriosis because I was having fainting spells & it was determined heavy menstrual was the prob so Dr. Meena said I needed surgery to remove the 9 fibroid that were causing this and thatd fix the prob. After surgery, she said I needed to be placed on daily birth control indef (had I known this before surgery, I wouldve sought second opinion). She said the birth control would prevent future fibroid. Last year, I decided to see another obgyn because I was having fainting spells & noticed when I stopped taking birth control, I had heavy menstruals and my Dr said it wasnt tied to fibroid so now Im thinking, why did I get surgery in the first place and was out 6 weeks from my job recovering. Also, the Dr. informed me that the birth control I had been prescribed was too strong, had harsh side effects, known to cause weight gain, high cholesterol among other things. Youll notice from my orig review that pharmacy wouldnt even give me one of the things Dr. Meena orig prescribed because it was to dangerous to be taken w/ other meds shed prescribed. Considering Im still having issues 2 yrs later, I do not recommend Dr. Meena.Orig Review 2020: Dr Meena Jain is very nice and listens to my concerns and addresses them. However, my concerns are as follows: I end up waiting over 1 hr after my set appt time without ever an explanation of why or that theyre working to resolve this. The only response I get from the receptionist is So Sorry. I was prescribed meds that per pharmacy, arent safe to be taken together so pharmacy wouldnt issue them and had to go back to this facility to get prescribed the proper meds. Also, they dont tell you ahead of time that theyre going to be digging all up inside your lady parts during some or half of your appts so be prepared for that when you come and I recommend not to come on your period. Lastly, the lobby isnt very welcoming as the check-in window is tinted, its always closed, and is covered in warning placards, ads, etc. You basically have to stand there like youre just staring at a brick wall and hope someone eventually comes open the window. I informed Dr. Meena of the concern and she said its because of HIPPA (strange, Ive never been to any other doctors office set up like this). One time I came to the window and they just shut it in my face. I understand theres a sign-in sheet, but thats just rude, especially when someone might have a question/concern to inquire about & there are people who just dont speak English & need help. Dr. Meena came highly recommended from another obgyn and even performed my endometriosis surgery, but after 5 appointments and having to wait like this (I wasnt seen at the first one because they said they didnt have the info they needed in my military referral so I had to turn around & go home), I finally told the receptionist that I was going to have to leave without seeing Dr. Meena during my last appointment and planned to find a new doctor. She made no attempts whatsoever to fix the situation, just repeated again Im so sorry and I found it strange that at least two different people had walked in and signed in after me (still after my appt time) and they were seen before me. Lastly, the military orig tried to cancel my referral to continue to be seen here because the place never forwarded my med records so military medical doctors/staff couldnt even any record a surgery had been performe so I had to push the staff to give them to me.
I have been a patient of Dr. Jain for 18 years and absolutely love her. She is kind, gentle, warm and treats me like a friend , always giving me good advice and simple remedies to common problems. It is comforting to see that there are still compassionate physicians who love their career ...
As far as Doctor goes, she was amazing. Very thorough and very sincere. That is the sad part because it is hard losing a great doctor. But the office manager is very rude and very uncalled for. I had a follow up today on something I was prescribed medicine to try and treat, if it didnt get better then a biopsy was to be performed. So I went in today and they wanted $600 for the follow up and biopsy. I explained that the spot was completely gone after medicine. Office manager was mad I was even questioning it. Then they wanted $275 just to see Dr. Nothing being done just to see her and find out results from other testing. I do have insurance but have a deductible. I mentioned I thought their fees were high just to walk into an exam room and asked for explanation of fees. Well because of the office manager and the way she spoke to me, I just left. There are other good Drs where I wont be treated like I am an idiot for watching what I spend of MY money. She said.... So your gonna lose the best Dr over money? How is it at all her concern of what choice I make for myself. Very rude!!! Such a same cause I see on here, this Dr is losing alot of patients because of her.
Doctor Jain is a great surgeon, in my opinion. But, when you schedule an appt. Plan your give up half of your day in the waiting area, with a very unpleasant front office. However, if you work for a pharmaceutical company, you will be let right back to see the doctor - never fails, everytime. I wonder how much she is making from them? All my opinion though!
Dr. Jain was very thourough with listening to me and my very complicated history. I feel more like we discussed and came to an agreed plan of care than just being told what to do. She was able to get me the best course of action for my problems. There is often a wait at her office. However I find it worth it.
Dr. Jain is amazing! I recommend her to all of my family and friends. I’m moving out of the country and I still plan on consulting her about any future concerns I may have.
She is, hands down the worst physician I have ever seen. Her office is a disorganized mess. I had my records sent twice and they managed to loose them both times. I waited well over an hour for my appt. She sent me for a bunch of very expensive unnecessary tests and when my insurance company refused to pay, she wouldnt even send a letter stating why they were necessary. Then to top that off, she told me I had to have a hysterectomy, which was not true. When I refused, she wanted to perform surgery for incontenace, which I do not have. When I refused that she wanted to do laser hair removal, which I do not need either. She is all about making money, not healthcare. My whole experience was a nightmare. Do yourself a favor. Go to anyone else.
Ive been a patient of Dr. Jain for several years. Recently I had the Axonics Bladder Modulation System implant. Previously Dr. Jain removed my remaining ovary and relieved my painful endometriosis pain.Im almost 70 and in my experience Dr. Jain is the most professional and knowledgeable GYN Ive known and the Axonics implant works great. I highly recommend Dr. Jains care for women of all ages. She IS the best!
I have been a patient of Dr. Jains for several years. Besides being highly knowledgeable, she is caring, very personable, and very easy to talk to about any problem I may have. She have performed a couple of surgeries on me and I trust her explicitly.
I have had dr after dr for years that didnt understand what I was going thru with pain. My intern med Dr.Duggirala referred me to Dr. Jain. I too had to wait, sitting wrecks my back problems, however, once I did see Dr. Jain she immediately recognized my problem. Ordered blood work & tests. Dr. Jain hit it spot on!!! I needed this procedure years ago but couldnt find a competent ob/gyn. Roxy , her office manager, related messages & got back to me in a very timely manner and also coordinated testing etc. Dr. Jain knew I was nervous since I gave up on finding a cure. She took her time with me & explained the procedure down to the last minute. I go in for procedure on Fri. morning. See her@ 8:25,,we go over procedure again, 8:30 Im off to O.R..10:30 Im awake in recovery. Dr Jain comes to check on me & verify everything went as planned. I got back to my day room. IV hooked up, antibiotics in, nursing staff in & out checking on me...3:30 Im heading home. Sunday evening Im sleeping on my tummy. Something Ive not been able to do for a long time. Let me tell you, Dr.Jain is amazing. So I go today for follow up, yes I have to wait but shes so worth it. I took my list of questions, she took her time & answered all & made sure I understood. I get home only to realize I forgot one important question. I call & staff takes down my question. I insist I dont need to take away from Dr. Jain busy schedule..Im confident Roxy can answer. Dr.Jain calls to answer my question. Again. AMAZING Dr. I understand why shes so busy. This is the first Dr ever to listen to me. Not stereotype my problems. But actually listened to me. If I have to wait to see her so be it. My health & well being is that important to me. And knowing an ob/gyn is looking down the road long term on my be half? You bet Im go to happily sit & wait. And my mammo came back questionable. She didnt put me on a wait & see..Dr Jain was very aggressive about getting answers. Dr. Jain IS very passionate about her work. And I like that theres other services offered as well. A Womans View is right.
I had a pap smear done about a month ago and I still have no results.Ive called every week and honestly just want an Its all good from the staff.I just went in for an annual, nothing wrong and came out with a problem visit and 2 rounds of antibiotics that were very unnecessary.The problem visit meant that I was being charged a lot more and It leads me to believe that that is what she is interested in.I really recommend other people to find another doctor. It feels like your well being and health are not as important as the money.
I had very bad endometriosis for many years, went to several GYNs and no one could help me :( then I found Dr. Meena Jain and I was a new patient absolutely loved her!!! Was scheduled for a laparoscopy a week later and now I feel amazing!!! :) I want to thank her awesome staff, and office manager who was very efficient and took great care of me during the whole process. I highly recommend Dr. Jain!!! You wont be dissapointted.
Yes- there is usually a long wait to see Dr. Jain, but honestly shes so worth the wait! She takes her time with patients and doesnt leave the room until you are completely comfortable with all information/next steps. Shes completing a robotic laparoscopy to remove endo for me next week and the office bent over backwards to get everything scheduled for me ASAP.
Hold times on phone were up to 10-15 minutes. My visit took up most of the day. I remember waiting around 45 minutes to be seen and when I finally was seen, the doctor was in the room for a few minutes and was back out of the door. I was supposed to get a well woman check up covered by my insurance company, because I told her about some pain I was having she charged me for an office visit, which I paid the day of service. I was mailed three different lab bills and her office billed the insurance company too, so her office was paid two times. I was never told that I would receive separate laboratory bills.
I made an appointment a month before. Got there early and filled out all the paperwork. Waited over an hour and was told the dr was 4 hours behind schedule and to reschedule for next month. Its a 70 mile drive round trip and Im disabled so this didnt sit too well with me. Im scheduled to go back this upcoming week. She came highly recommended by my gastro doctor, whom I love and respect, so I will give this one more chance. I dont mind waiting an hour or so, but if it takes longer than that to be seen (Im the first patient on the schedule for that day,) Ill leave and find someone else. My time is valuable too.
Rip off. Was paid $50 copay for a procedure I needed and then refused to do it saying it was not needed....a colposcopy. I had 2 others done in past 2 years by other docs who recommended one annually to be on the safe side of HPV problems and less than normal pap smear. Jain also billed extea for the mandatory in-house urinalysis to check for infections and pregnancy but this was to be part of the $50 office visit copay through Aetna. Do not recommend her at all!!
I couldn’t be happier with the results after a partial hysterectomy in April. Everything in my gut needed some attention, but feeling tight and no pads! Dr. Jain is a master of her craft.
Save yourself the trouble and DO NOT go here.I will agree that her office is severely unprofessional and unorganized and I did not feel comfortable there, BUT i felt great with the Dr. herself. She diagnosed me clearly and with confidence and also found something new that was wrong that no other doctor had ever found. She was going to be preforming surgery on me, but due to her office being SEVERELY unorganized and uneducated, I decided to change providers. I could go on for days about how ridiculous this office is.
Dr.Jain is amazing! I have stage 4 endometriosis and IC and she is the only one I trust for my treatment and care. She is an excellent surgeon and really cares for her patients.
After 2 laparoscopy surgries for endometriosis, I had a beautiful healthy 8 pds 13 oz baby girl this past September! Dr. Jain is truly my blessing ! She is an amazing person. Thank you Dr. Jain. I am forever grateful.
This is the WORST doctors office I have ever been to. Waiting times for your appointments are ludicrous, and you have to sit there for at least 30 mins in the waiting area before you are even acknowledged by the front desk! I came in to the office only to get a copy of my records once and sat in the waiting room 45 mins before they opened the front window. After everything, they still wouldnt give me all my medical records. I was so fed up with the lack of organization and service that I switched doctors, and even THEN, the my new doctor was unable to get the records faxed over from Jains office one month later and my new appointment had to get rescheduled. This has been the biggest waste of my time. I would absolutely not recommend this to anyone.
I have have had a few appointments with Dr.Jain.Im very pleased with her as a doctor.She is very attentive and she shows she cares.If I have a question she has an answer. In the past I delt with a doctor who just couldnt answer my question,it was like they didnt want to do the foot work.Im greatful to have her as my doctor and I hope others make her their doctor.Shes good at what she does and she cares which is most important.
I had an appointment on 11/1/18 at 12:45 pm. I drove from South Tampa because the Doctor was in a magazine as one of the top 100 Gynecologist in the US. However, after I drove almost 40 minutes I was told the doctor was not in and had an emergency. No phone call from the staff and they had the wrong phone number for me. Also, the staff acted as if it was no big deal that I took off work and wasted a few hours of my day.
I would not go to this doctor again. My gut feeling is she is not an honest doctor. I found billings for procedures that were not done. When I brought it to their attention, I was told that they would send me the test - it was just overlooked. I said I didnt want the test done in the first place and I wanted the money refunded to Medicare. When I asked for their records to be sent to my primary in Apr this year, they told me they had sent them. Between my Dr. asking for them and me calling and asking for them, they were requested over 5 times. 3 months later they have still not been sent. I have received billing for labs located in different states for urine samples. Why would you send a urine sample to New Haven, CT from St. Petersburg, FL?? The explanations by the dr and her staff have not made sense. I feel as though they are covering up something that I found because I looked at the billing closer than most people. You know - its just that gut feeling you have and -- I have it about this dr. Now, lets see if I get my medical records tomorrow when I physically go to pick them up. I asked for the records and test results to be ready to be picked up tomorrow, 3 1/2 months after my one visit and charges of over $3000.00. My advice is find someone else.
Dr. Jain was excellent. Got a appt. quickly and surgery in a month. Very through and explained everything very precisely. Feel very lucky to have found Dr. Jain for my Gyn and would recommend her to any woman looking for a gyn. Thank you Dr. Jain
My trip to see Dr Jain was a real pleasure. Her staff is very friendly and knowledgable. Dr. Jain was spot in with my diagnosis, when two other doctors were clueless. Im so blessed to have found her!
I felt very coerced and I believe they exploited my emotions and used fear-based tactics. I had the same experience as the other negative reviews. Every appt I had was rescheduled, either the day before or up to the last hour before my appt. I had a complication a few days after my final (prepaid) procedure and when it was not resolved through a med they called in, they charged me over $200 (and that was a discounted rate) to examine me instead of treating it as a follow-up to make sure that I was ok. I also had the same experience as other reviewers reported - how the doc and staff acted as if it were a matter of urgency that I let her examine me. Again, I felt very coerced and I believe they exploited my emotions and used fear-based tactics so that I would shell out the extra $. I am seriously considering reporting her.
After putting in for a days off work . i had an HSG scheduled. The day b4 the hospital calls and needs authorization from the Dr. I called her office. Got a call back told me everything was ready to go. Recheduled my test. So i did it for the nxt week. I get to hospital and after an hour and half wait i still didnt get the test done. Her office lied to me about getting it lined out. The lady at admissions talk to someone in the office and she didnt know her butt from a hole in the ground . sooooo again i Missed work for nothing . her office is suppose to call my ins and call me back . lets wait and see !! Yet again ..if and when her office gets authorization then i will call the hospital and schedule my test. I will have it done . go for a follow up. That will be my last visit to that Dr. She needs to office staff . The Dr herself I liked and shes good with explaining anything. They are always in a rush. The wait is 2 hours . In a big hurry to get my 40.00 copay !.
If I could put zero stars I would. I have had many doctors and have never had such a bad experience that I felt compelled to write a review. After waiting over 2 hours to see the doctor I walked out. The nursing staff was unhelpful, the office is old, the bathroom was disgusting, I would find it hard to believe the equipment would be sterile in this office.Maybe if you use Medicaid this is the office for you as I overheard one woman talking. I have nothing positive to say about my experience except for that I am so glad I did not pay for this doctors services.
Dr. Jain is excellent! Went above and beyond after my surgery with follow up with detailed explanation of procedure. I will recommend her to anyone.

She was decent the times I actually got to see her. Every other appointment was canceled and rescheduled at least twice. She was knowledgeable but you wait forever to see her and then sometimes dont see her at all. One of the most unprofessional and disorganized offices Ive ever been in.
This place is outrageous. The doctor as a person, very nice but how can u possibly care about your patients?! This office is terrible they completely over book. You will wait for hours before being seen. My first visit ever I waited for 50 minutes before I was even acknowledged they have the desk window covered up so you cant even get anyones attention. I am immediately finding a new doctor this has been a terrible experience and looking at past posts they have been running their office like this for years. Do not come here!
She has taken care of me for 19 years! Even when i lived out of state, i would fly down for Anything i needed from her! I trust noone else but her! Shes kind, compassionate, caring, and i could go on for days! Shes just absolutely Awesome! Staff is awesome too!
BEWARE!!! Im writing this anonymously. Came to this doctor for my annual exam. Waited 2 weeks for appt, then when I showed up, was told that I would be charged $200 if the doctor found something during the exam, and was asked to pay this up front, before even stepping into the exam room. HUH?? Doesnt this add incentive for the doctor to find something that would make me have to pay $200 out of pocket (aka so she doesnt waste her time JUST doing the free annual). Was told that this follow up appt costing $200 would be immediately after the exam...so they can charge for 2 appts even though I am getting the time slot for just one.TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. GO TO A BETTER PROVIDER AND BETTER CLINIC. Not to mention it was dingy in there.

Have worked with Dr. Jain professionally and had check ups and aprocedure in years past. Made a recent appointment only to be rescheduled. I was notified that they had to reschedule yet again. I will have to regrettably find another doctor.
For the past 15 years she has changed my life and helped me through endometriosis. I was able to finally live life pain free. She is caring and kind.

Very poor service from the office staff. Never got to even meet the doctor due to walking out before I was able to. My appointment was at 930 am and several patients walked in after me, one specific one that came in early for a 10:30 am appointment, and ALL them were seen BEFORE me!very bad experience for me as I was sitting there in pain. Do not recommend this office
Would love a patient portal so I can review my test results as I woke 8:30 to 5:30 and don’t have time to make it to the office.. and also to have holiday hours stated as I showed up on Memorial Day and no one here.. when it states they are open. Or make it to where I can verify myself so I can have my results sent to my home

The costumer service name sandy was so rude , answering calls,not very helpful at all , unprofessional , and she wants me to wait after three days to confirm if I’m going to get an appointment.. I wonder why is 3 stars, whoever manage she don’t need to put her in a front desk and answering calls , . She don’t have patience to talk to the costumer.. I hope this reviews can help…

Long wait I waited 2hours, then doesn’t give you her full undivided attention goes to other rooms comes back told me I need birth control even tho I said NO her response was just for 2 weeks.at the end they forgot to give me the 2weeks birth control and said drive all way back here lol for something I did not even want
I just recently went to see Doctor Jain and was quite impress with her bedside manners and was quite informative, friendly and I felt very comfortable and walk away thinking I made the right decision.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Dont get me wrong, Jain is a great doctor, BUT THE OFFICE IS THE WORST. THEY DONT APPRECIATE YOU AT ALL!! WINDOW IS ALWAYS CLOSED AND OPENS WHEN THEY FEEL LIKE.
