Dr Confident took the time to care and listen. My daughter is having serious medical issues, and he is helping so much. We appreciate him!!

No matter how I feel going into the office I always feel better mentally emotionally and physically , and the nursing staff is awesome to thumbs up to all of them for putting up with me

Doctor confident is a great doctor I totally respect his care and his abilities. However the office personnel and the home office on central boulevard is not capable of filling prescriptions per the pharmacys request. Which sometimes mean multiple phone calls between the pharmacy and the office. (Poi ting fingers). Ive changed pharmacies it is the pharmacy. The Doctors corporation has a referral department instead of being handled handled at each individual office. The Referral department does not send the referrals to the other doctors which means you miss your appointments at the other doctors.when you try to call the referral Department they dont answer the phone. They insist you leave a message, which they dont return your call. I have been a patient at that location for 15 years doctor Desai passed away about 3 years thats when the practice went down hill.

The entire staff is amazing if I could give you 10 stars I would thank you guys for all you do. I appreciate you❤️

As a whole, the office seems to be a good place to need a Doctor. My complaint is solely with Dr. Joe Ciszewski. At my very first visit, he acted very busy, and his body language was anxious. As a result I tried to speak fast to limit my time (on his behalf) but he just railroaded me through every explanation. I couldnt finish saying anything before he would ask another question or just move on away from me talking. It was rude. So much so, I was already dreading my next visit. When I saw him again, I cut to the chase and asked him straight up if he had more time to listen to my issues, so I could get the help I needed. The 2nd visit went much better, but he still ended up cutting me off at the end. He made me feel like he put a limit on the amount of help he would give for this one visit. Needless to say, I began again to fret the follow up. Before the follow up 3rd visit; I made two trips to the emergency room, where two monumental things occurred that drove my need to check my own blood thinner, as the need went way up there, in the category of Being your own Health Advocate. So, I called my my Insurance company who gave me instructions on how to get the order through my Primary Care physician. Trust me I asked if I could go through the Cardiologist as I just knew the cocky other guy would cause an issue exactly as he did simply because I knew how (ALL) the doctors I have seen are, about the blood thinners, and he had already tried to recruit other services only to discover they where set up through my cardiologist. So when I needed something for my heart, that I was forced to get through him he concentrated on how he could get this business. I knew where he was going. I explained that I was not looking to continue having the Doctors office monitor my blood thinner medication. I NEED to be able to check it at home. As I tried to explain the reasons, which were all pertinent, he was just fixed on how he could get this business from the other Doctor. When I said No I wasnt interested in switching this service; he said he couldnt give me the prescription for the machine, reciting that the medication is too touchy. LOL., 62 years old, but I cannot handle pricking my own finger, reading the level and adjusting the medication. I told him that if he could not help me get the machine that I NEEDED; he was only forcing me to go elsewhere. I kept talking; trying to get him to listen; as he began to mark my file, but his mind was already made up. Remember he has no time to hear your explanations, so attempting to reiterate the legitimate reasons for this machine went in one ear and out the other. He didnt want to listen, he just wanted to get me to try using his office to monitor it; and/or be able to bill for another service. Due to his ugly bed side manner, I would rather just go ahead and die from complications rather than be subjected to see him any more than I already had too. What a wee little man was he. Thank you God, that he is not the only Doctor in town.

Doc didnt listen to reasons I was there for. Even though I had my private nurse with mehe kept saying this and that are normal. These problems are not normal. He did not even send me to get some testing done.Office personal very rude. Even to my case manager.HorribleFor me I would not tell anyone to go to him..

I have an incredible phenomenal heatlthcare team Mrs. Ella and the staff is so amazing always fun and laugther and brings so much joy to the environment. Always greeted nicely. My doctor joseph C. is so amazing takes time to attend to his patients AND ALWAYS PROMPT I LOVE THEM DEARLY. IT MEANS ALOT.

I started with this office in Pasedena in 2005. The doctor there retired and since the office staff was so great(Cindy is still office manager today) and Mira. That I decided to drive across town for such great care.I since have had 3 different doctors there, another office change, and still drive across town.Its a pleasure to see Crystals smiling face, the front desk receptionist who goes above and beyond her duties to help with anything! The women doctors I always see there are the best!Thank you for your care!

As an African American male its important to see positive minority role models in the community and to support each other’s businesses to sustain a diverse representation in the field. I had given up thinking this was not possible in the Pinellas County field if medical practitioners outside of a very few doctors, then I found the best kept secret in town. Thanks Fadi Saba, MD and PHC for partnering with Leonard Confident, MD. His staff is funny, hospitable (in a good way) and very professional. BTW the nurse can draw labs with one painless stick so no more need for outpatient lab visits.

Staff are so nice. Always so accommodating. Dr Confident is very knowledgeable and takes his time with you.

I have absolutely no complaints. Great doctor. Great staff. Clean office. Just one little pet peeve. I do not like the robocalls. When you are going to call to schedule an appointment for your patients. I would like to know what that appointment is for.

Terrible! The medical assistants have bad attitudes and not helpful. I was prescribed medicine that didnt agree with me. I called the office first thing next morning and was told that they would tell the doctor when he came in and they would call me back. I was never called back, so I called the office and was told that the doctor had already left and they didnt ask him and he would be out until till Monday and I would have to wait. It was Friday and that meant I would have to go all weekend with no medicine. I asked if the covering doctor could help me and was told that their policy was that only the prescribing doctor could write a new prescription for me. I have never heard of such a thing. I am use to other offices that if the doctor is not in the covering doctor can help you. Im finding a new doctor and never going back!Dont go there!

I have been with American Family for years, as was my mother before me. They are the best. I think that negative comment must have been from a negative person. Never have I ever had a bad day with American Family. Perhaps they were reviewing the other practice in Seminole with a similar name. Not this office.

The same problems below other patients stated I totally agree awful and bad...... attitudes very rude . Now this post was back 2 years ago prior to me coming on here as of 2018!to add on and update my most recent visit back to this office within last 24 hours.. However I tried to give this office another chance do to my insurance change recently and now I see why the doctor office retaliated against me now and was going to let me die!!! In the office yesterday when the doctor push my back down in the chair after my blood pressure reached 148/100 feet was turning blue I was light headed feeling faint nausea as well as blurred vision I told Doctor Desai as well as I informed the Manager/Nurse I was very very ill numbness all down my left arm to my left foot . I also was having heart palpitations and have a history of blood pressure problems. I had a withness that was there with me and heard the doctor tell me to NOT GO TO THE Emergency room kept talking me out of going but repeatedly kept a saying my blood pressure was high. I said no I’m going to the Er right now something is not right he refused treatment and now I see why retaliation from this post and the office manager stated to me today I have “BEEF” with them but she says she is a professional using that kind of language to me which I’m African American. They repeatedly hung up on me and refused to refer me to see my cardiologist by sending a referral knowing I have a leaking heart valve and taking Fiancé took me TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. My heart rate at the Er got down to 60 hospital did my blood pressure it was 152/105!!!!!! They prescribed (Hospital) they told me the medication I was on cause my heart rate to drop a lil too low they gave me oxygen and medication also prescribed me blood pressure meds to see if it helps then stated to me that my DOCTOR need to send a referral over to my cardiologist ASAP so I can she my heart SPECIALIST AGAIN MY DOCTORS OFFICE REFUSED TO ALTHOUGH IT WASN’T even 24 hours I was just in their doctors office unbelievable and very unethical I then contacted my insurance company and they made one call after hearing my complaint to Desai office and then they sent the referral smh I’m so thankful to have listened to my body and God after Doctor Desai pushed me back down and told me NOT TO GO TO THE ER WITH A BLOOD PRESSURE READING AND SYMPTOMS I WAS HAVING FOR A WEAK OR MORE WITH HEADACHES PLEASE PEOPLE LISTEN TO YOUR BODY first! I will be getting a transcript of all calls do to the fact I have been discriminated against , slandered lied on , belittled , disrespected , medically neglected insulted and was told not to go to the ER and when I question about my health concerns and said it was I that said I need to go to the Er even after he told me not to over and over again they became angered and accused me of being argumentative because I was only addressing concerns about my health accusing me also of not being a nice person. I save two lives of strangers I didn’t even know raised children that is not my own but loved them as if . I’m a mother of 5 adult children 4 which graduated and went to college and my youngest to follow this year 18 senior no criminal record for none of them . I also worked in the medical field and always the ill as if I’d want to be treated no matter what race or what they look like so I think I’ve done pretty good and been pretty nice considering being told I haven’t been nice to the office but I always greeted them with a smile and a hello despite of .

I saw Dr Desai for 2 years, then changed plans so had to change doctors. I have been to 5 PCPs in past year & Dr. Desais Service & his staffs service are much much better than the 5 I went to......, so I switched plans again so I could go back to him................. I do not condone what he allegedly has done regarding criminal activities and fraud,,,but as far as his skills as a doctor ,,he is great

This is a wonderful office! Staff is friendly and helpful. The Doctor is professional yet very kind and understanding. Love being a patient there.

Staff is super friendly, very professional. I was in and out in about 30 minutes!!! Refreshing to be treated so well.
